Do you have a pet? What kind of pet do you own, and why did you choose it?

I have two pets, my furbabies, aka my cats Roxy and Amos.  I really wanted a dog when my husband and I got our first pet together back in 2003, but in our apartment complex dogs have to be under 20 pounds so we went with Amos the then 2 pound baby kitty, and then six months later got two month old little fluff of fur Roxy:)

I love cats, and how affectionate they can be!  They also have the funniest personalities!

I've always wanted to get my mom's name "Mary" in her handwriting tattooed on me somewhere after she passed away over three years ago, but never knew exactly where I'd like to place it.  I decided on my inner left wrist, so either late this evening or tomorrow I will be getting it done, though I'm freaked since I know it is going to hurt like a mofo since that is VERY thin skin.  But I know it will be over and done with in like 20 minutes and it will be something I'll have forever to remember her.

Also have my 2nd dress fitting this afternoon and I'm so excited to see the dress on me, and fitting much better now that the first round of alterations have been completed, will be nice to see a B bust on the bodice instead of the room there was for double D's, crazy! haha.

Only 28 more days til I'm married!!!!

Even though i was up until almost midnight last night, I still woke up a few minutes before 6am, like I do when it is a work day, not fun.  We helped Paul's sister and her boyfriend move stuff from their apartment and storage place into the house they just bought. Such an adorable house, and the inside of the house is just gorgeous! All hardwood flooring and it is completely remodeled so it doesn't have the 50's feel (back when the house was built), and the backyard is so nice and spacious!!!!!

Thankfully it only took about 3 hours to get everything moved, and then we chilled for a bit in her house with the air on, it was 109 outside!!!!  Paul and I then took off and the temperature in V-town was 98, so not too bad. But then when we were unloading the entertainment center we bought off her along with the big screen tv, we noticed we accidentally took the glass to her coffee table home with us. Oops.

So I had to run back up there and when I got home I jumped into a nice cool shower and now I"m just going to bum around in my shorts and tank top, now the temperature is up to 104 degrees. times like these I wish I would have remembered to ask if our apartment had A/C in it, back when I signed the lease in Jan '05, just one of those things I assumed would be in here, another oops. Oh well, it's never massively hot where we are, but still it'd be nice to blast some frigid air, but the cool fans Paul' bought work just fine.

Worried about my younger brother. He was supposed to come down and see me this weekend with his wife, but he didn't show up and I haven't heard from him in three days. Tried calling him like five times already in the last day and a half and no response. He isn't even returning emails or the MySpace messages and comments I've left him, so I'm worried. Called my sister and she hasn't heard from him either, hope he's okay.

well it's off to go chill, hope everyone stays cool!
